Reflection for unit 9
In unit 9, we learnt a lot of information about business through many parts.
- Working with words: we studied article to learn new words such as logistics, supply chain. manufacture,.... Also, we studied what is different between conventional manufacturer and Dll's manufacturer. And we studied some phrases verb that we use in business communication like in stock , run out of, on order,....
- Business communication skills:in this part we studied
- How we place an order with some expressions like I'd like to place an order / This is a repeat order / Please send them asap / Please charge it to my account .
- Asking for details: Do you have an account with us? / Could I take your account details, please? / When did you place the order? / Can I ask when you placed the order?
- Cheeking on an order : I'd like to find out about an order. / I'm chasing - following u an order./ Could you cheek it out for me . / I really want to know what's happen to it.
- Explaining what happened : We put it (straight) through to ... / According to my information ..... / It was dispatched on ....
- Complaining : I'm not happy about this . / this is a real problem for me . / this is unacceptable .
- Promising: I'm look into it immediately. / I'll cheek it out straight way. / I'll find out . / I'll get back to you ( within the hour) / I'll be as quick as I can 3.How we leave a voicemail message, we have to follow some method like : Identifying yourself. /Giving the time of your call./ Giving reason for the call. / Leaving contact number. 4, Crammer:
- Reporting statements.
- Reporting questions.
- Reporting requests.
- Reporting order.
- And when we use say and tell. 5. Finally we studied solving a logistics problem : When we get any problem with logistics we have to study supply chain management, It is very important to know relationships with suppliers , distributors and customers . When you solve logistics problem and supply chain It is really important to have technical intelligence (IQ) as well as emotional intelligence (EQ) to build relationship.
